Buttons not working under center display

I recently bought a 2020 XC90 T6 Inscription. Just yesterday, the volume knob, left/right track skip and defrost buttons are not working under the center display. Anyone else with this issue and was it something you could fix on your own?

Have a 2018 T8 excellence that had similar issue, the center home button stopped working, the entire screen/infotainment system had to be changed. Extended warranty paid for it, but it was about $1200 equivalent.
