Hello, my first post on here! I bought a used 2016 XC90 with just over 100K miles on it from a dealer. Turns out it had the dreaded oil consumption problem. Volvo graciously fixed it for free. The apple carplay never worked and the GPS was never correct from when I bought it. After windshield replaced the SRS airbag service urgent light came on. Volvo was going to diagnose it but couldn't because the VCM was bad. Of course they wanted $2400 to replace the VCM. I declined. I am very car literate and usually fix my own cars no matter the issue. My question is my VCM is a 31450885. I have not been able to locate a used one. Are there other VCM part numbers that will work on my car? I have the SPA ethernet ODBII connector and can get a 3 day VIDA license to update the VCM and software. Also, anything I can check as far as the SRS airbag warning light since I can't access any codes until VCM is fixed?
