2017 Volvo XC90 Hybrid R-Design

[VXC90 R-Design]

New Member and soon to be a first time Volvo car owner. It's fully loaded with every option except trailer hitch.

I picked it over MB, BMW, and Lexus.

Let's face it...the XC90 is frigging gorgeous.

Some first questions.

1. Has anyone upgraded their brakes? Is there a need to? If so, who did you go with?

2. What has your experience been with the Hybrid? Anything negative?

3. Besides the invisihitch is there any other hitch that is recommended?

4. Has anyone installed window wind deflectors? I'd like to see how it looks in pictures. Any particular brand that you used?

5. Can you add on Polestar at any point? Have you added Polestar after the fact?

6. There's no aftermarket Catback Exhaust that I could find. Have you used one? If so, which one? Pictures?

So I am reminded that there is no spare tire or as Volvo calls it... Temporary tires on the Hybrid.

What have others done to mitigate this issue?

I am waiting to hear back from Polestar on when the upgrade is available and if there will be a performance exhaust.

Polestar replied back to me and said the Optimization Package for the T8 is not going to be available until the end of Q1 2017.

They also said that there will be no performance exhaust upgrade either.

My car has an error message which says Brake Characteristics have Changed. Service Required...

The dealer can't figure it out. They've done all the software upgrades.

Any ideas from anyone else on this?
