- 2017 XC90 R-Design
Hi Everyone,
First post here after becoming Volvo owner in spring of 2024. Looking for some advice on my 2017 XC90 R-Design’s rear fog light.
We have a UK RHD car but live in France. In the process of moving it over to French plates and making it all legit and compliant. It has just failed its CT (French equivalent of MOT) on the fact that the rear fog light is on the wrong side (Driver/Right), when in France in needs to be on (Driver/Left).
Local garage took a look at what it might take to change it over and drew a blank. Local garage even rang Volvo dealership in France and they couldn’t help. Anyone here had any experience of this, or any help/advice greatly appreciated.
Open to even driving car back to UK to get this done if someone can do it, as finding someone here proving difficult and I really don’t want to give up on the car. I have seen there was a thread about wiring up the opposite fog light here some time ago, with a member even posting a ‘How to guide’ but based on info it looked like it would have been on an old shape XC90.
