the car only starts when it wants to

2003 xc90 car will start maybe 2 or 3 times then nothing, no click or nothing, a good battery and even jumping it nada, any suggestions where to start? thanks grm

If lights tv dim when trying to start then check battery and ground connections, also on engine

Otherwise likely starter motor
