2010 xc90 turbo pressure sensor

trying to sort out a few problems , and i removed the turbo pressure sensor and noticed this little bit of white plastic ?
is this normal , i tried to google a few pics of the sensor and they dont SEEM to show that white bit , ( the pics werent at the correct angle to get a good view)
any one help ?
