- What I Drive
- BMW IX 2022
I currently drive a 2022 BMW IX,satisfactory tech, comfort etc, but I have changed circumstances since early this yr so now do 35000 miles a year.
The battery warranty will run out in a year and a half at this rate. Also real world range of 180 miles can be daunting on remote and rural trips etc and dampens the freedom to travel anywhere anytime etc.
I also am under a bit of economic duress so budget is tight with part of the funds from the IX(not on finance) sale going into buying a car ,
BUT I'm used to over the years a comfortable ride, premium sound, adaptive cruise control, and would like 7 seats (3 kids 3 dogs) so a used volvo XC90 under 25k is a strong candidate
I'm thinking of a used XC90 non hybrid perhaps with around 100k miles on the clock. Is this a ruinous idea. Diesel v petrol ? Thoughts welcome
