- 2019 Volvo XC90 T6 Momentum
Hi! I'm looking for suggestions on a bunkbed/house travel trailer (under 5000lbs) that others have tried. We've been looking at the 2021 Gulfstream 25BH Enlighten. Dry wt 4060lbs, 26' long, $18k. The angled bunk house (vs standard bunkbeds) seems like a great design and gives each kid a lot of room. Any hitch recommendations? Initially I'm thinking of having Volvo install their factor hitch that doesn't require removal of the bumper. Will this suffice and control swaying correctly or is a physical anti sway bar required as well? I know the XC90 has it's own sway correction, just not sure how well that works. We'd be going on a 1 year trip through state and national parks with a mixture of boondocking and staying at camps where there's electric/sewer/water. Thanks for any recommendations!
