BLIS warning in center screen " Warning Service Needed "

Turned on XC90 (2017) after driving to return home and message came up with symbol that my BLIS was not working and needed service. After returning home I turned off vehicle and then restarted and warning was gone and BLIS was working. Do I need to make an appointment for service or just disregard . Same thing happened on my Ford Explorer and service could not find a problem because message was gone and system was working.

Its been raining here for weeks and there is a layer of gunk on my cameras each day. I have gotten used to cleaning the cameras off at least once a week. Could they be dirty and setting off your BLIS?

No. If the cameras where dirty the warning lights on the mirrors would just stay lite. I wash my car weekly so that was not the problem.

This happened to me before and a software update fixed it.
