Hi all

New to this forum.

I'm looking at buying a GCC (Middle East) spec XC90 Inscription in Dubai UAE where the temperature gets pretty high during the summer months. Many vehicles particularly European models struggle here in the heat and I just wondered if anyone has any personal experiences with how good/bad the XC90 is at coping with heat.

Cheers !

Hello,

I have some experience with heat and humidity and the XC90. We had a rental XC90 last year While in central Florida. Lots of heat and humidity. It seemed to keep up with the Florida climate pretty well.

I found that the start stop didn't work well, as the climate control system seemed to take a lot of power to keep up.

The XC90 climate control system inhibits the Auto Stop/Start when outside temperature goes above approximately 85 degrees - automatically.
