Extremely loud squealing on startup

I’ve got a 2005 XC90 V8. For about 3 months now, at start up, there is an extremely loud sequel that last for 10-15 minutes if the car idles. If I immediately start driving it the noise is almost deafening. It last about 3 miles before it subsides to nothing. I’ve put water on the belt to ensure it’s not that, and the noise increases. So it’s not the belt. Any ideas?

How many miles do you have on the belt and have you replaced them before?
