Hey folks. Just bought an 05 XC90. It had been raining heavily while the car was parked on a downhill slope. Drove it home from NY to PA. No issues at the time. Filled the tank with sunoco 91. The next day, the car started up fine but soon had engine performance warning. The car eventually went into limp mode while cruising around. Eventually the check engine came on, and the car shut down several times in traffic. The seller said it's probably all the water that had fallen on it causing an issue. Codes were p2111 and p2135. I parked, and upon next startup, all codes were gone, and the car has been fine the rest of the day. It seems like the car is completely fine...could it be that water caused the error overnight? If this issue is throttle related and intermittent, anyone familiar with the fix?
