Rattling/tapping noise

I have had my Volvo XC90 Momentum since 2015 December. Six months into the ride I experience noise on the right front wheel. I have sent it in about 7 times without success. The latest i have been told is that the noise is from the brake pads that are rattling at times in the brake calliper. I have further been told that Volvo is aware of this and that there is currently no repair for this. Has anyone heard of this or had a similar problem?

Yes I have heard a rattle from front passenger area
