Transmission Randomly Shifting.

On my 2004 T5 with 245,000, when the car is cold everything is ok but after about 5 miles the transmission starts shifting up and down quickly. Any ideas as to what causes this?

Off the top I would suggest a scan for codes. It sounds like a module or speed sensor. Either way unless you want to throw money at it I would urge a scan. Read codes and post them. Good Luck.
