Hello fellow Volvo’ists! I’m from the Massachusetts area and have recently upgraded from a 2016 XC90 to a 2022 XC90. I never expected to enjoy a vehicle so much, but the 2016 was such a pleasure to ride and the interior comfort was awesome. I was only at 85k but decided to take advantage of the higher trade-in offers and enjoy an even more comfy 2022. Look forward to seeing you around the forum!

Hi All,

Purchased a 2021 XC90 T8 in white. First dive into both a Volvo and a Hybrid. We were really honing back into another Acura MDX but also tested out an Infiniti, Audi, and a Land Rover Discovery. It just so happened that the Volvo dealer was next door to the Audi dealer so we stopped by to check out the XC90. I enjoyed the Land Rover but was surprisingly impressed with the Volvo. We had debated a while between the two but since our final factors were that the Volvo dealer had the EV, the safety features and the interior color in stock (blonde with white exterior) we ended with the Volvo. It's my wife's car and used quite a bit to transport the kids around, so here we are. Really happy with it 7 months on.

Hi Guys , I m from Virginia area. I recently purchased 2016 XC90 T6 Inscription. Its just amazing. I sold my brand new Vw Atlas Cross Sport SEL ... . Now i feel upgraded my car with 2016 Volvo . I look forward to long trips and To say hi when I see another Volvo.

Hello everyone. I am on my second 2018 XC90: the first was an T6 Inscription that was totaled in a highway crash last December (but that is another story); the second is a T8 Inscription. I am very interested to find out how people have optimized the hybrid system to get the most out of the battery. I have had the car for almost a month now and I am still trying figure out in what conditions to use what features (B-mode, the Hold Charge button, the Charge Button, hybrid mode vs pure mode). Any and all help will be appreciated.

Hello fellow XC90 peeps--we just purchased a 2019 XC90 R Design and we're ready to get on the road. My question is simple, how can a new car "luddite" learn to how to simply learn how to do simple things like change my smart phone name, in lieu of iPhone(4) or add a local radio station. The last car we purchased was a 2000 Chevy Tahoe 18 years ago!! I've looked at the Volvo how to videos and have not be able to easily make "personal" changes.

Hello fellow XC90 peeps--Kim here--we just purchased a 2019 XC90 R Design and we're ready to get on the road. We were looking to purchase a midsize SUV and after testing out a few on the market we found the XC90 R Design "just right" as Goldilocks would say! The size, amenities, comfort, look, safety---it is simply the best in its class. This is the first "newish" car we've purchased in almost 20 years, so the technology has me a bit frustrated--wish I could verbalize "change the name of my iPhone" and it would do it, but I don't think we're there just yet. Hi! Soon-to-be-owner of a 2011 XC90 3.2AWD here... Hoping to finalize paperwork on the vehicle by the end of this week.

Anyone have a good link for a VIN decoder? I found some online but most of them just list general car specs. I'm a gearhead and looking for more specific data because I want to do some brake work as soon as I pick it up. I noticed on the test drive they were a little soft/ worn so I'm hoping to order some parts this week. FCP Euro lists three rotor sizes and I need to verify what's on the car. Help is appreciated!

Hello Everyone, I have a 2023 B6 Ultimate and it is good to be back in a Volvo again. This is my fifth Volvo, but my first XC series. I owned two S90's an S80 and a 740 turbo way back when. I parted with my T8 in Dec 21 and have gone through a new Pathfinder and a new XT6 before I got back to Volvo. Looking forward to some back and forth question and asnwering.
